Help us create the future

Join our neurotech experiment to research cognitive mental states

Experiment locations

Our experiments take place in Delft, Munich, Berlin, and Cottbus and last about 3 hours.
The sessions are informative, safe and a unique learning experience led by our team of experts.
Rest assured that the data we collect remains confidential, and we do not share any personal information with third parties.

If you are ready to take part and earn a reward, select your location and your preferred language (Dutch, German, or English) to access the eligibility questionnaire and secure your place in this exciting study.

What to expect

Each session is led by our team of experts and is designed to be exciting, informative and safe.

Depending on the system, you will wear a cap or have a plaster applied to accurately record brain activity while you solve computer-based tasks, such as math problems or responding to visual and auditory stimuli, which are explained in detail ibeforehand.

  • Explore the potential of your brain: Learn how your brain's activity interacts with technology.
  • Experience groundbreaking innovation: Take part in groundbreaking research and observe in some experiments how neuroadaptive systems and AI connect with brain activity.
  • Contribute to valuable neurotechnology research: By joining, you help us gather insights that contribute to the growth of neuroadaptive technology.

What we offer

  • Unique opportunity to engage with groundbreaking neurotechnology
  • Be part of a research that could lead to amazing innovations
  • A friendly environment
  • Compensation for your participation

What we need

  • Age: 20-48 years
  • Native in Dutch or English (Netherlands)
  • Native in German or English (Germany)
  • Additional requirements: Some studies have specific requirements. For example, EEG cap studies may not be suitable for participants with certain hairstyles, as these can make accurate data collection technically difficult.
  •  Further information can be found under the participation links. Check whether you are eligible for an experiment (requirements may vary slightly from experiment to experiment).

About our research project

Our lab experiments are part of a larger project called “Neuroadaptivity for Autonomus Systems” (NAFAS), an endeavor funded by the German federal agency Agentur für Innovation in der Cybersicherheit - “Innovation for Cybersecurity" that seeks to revolutionize human-computer interaction and artificial intelligence through neuroadaptive technology. With a 30 million euro investment, this funding is the largest single-financed research project in the European Union.

NAFAS’ main goal is to develop neurotechnological prototypes to simplify communication between humans and partially autonomous systems. And enable artificial intelligence to directly learn from the human brain to adopt skills and understand human values.
